On Saturday June 10th we hosted the Hop Run with Durty Events with this year’s number of runners being a new record! After the success of last year, a new 5K race was introduced this year to get as many people involved as possible! This was very popular as we sold out all entries! With over 500 runners participating in the 10K and 5K race, this year’s run was a huge success.
We had lots of staff members running the 10K this year which was fantastic to see! Our very own Duncan Coombs came first overall along with Ben Gallafent coming in close second!
While Beer and Pizza are Stewart Brewing staples, we introduced a new Hop Dog station ran by our very own grill master and restaurant manager Morgan! Many runners stayed after their run and were joined by their friends and family to enjoy the sunshine and our delicious food and beer!
Thanks to all the extremely generous runners, we raised a total of £1,126.70 for the amazing charity Bright Sparks!
