Having a house party? BBQ? Birthday? Then why not get beer delivered straight to your door!

Our party beer service ensures that your event will run smoothly from start to finish. We deliver to you free of charge and collect the empty cask/keg when you are finished. This means no hassle for you; no fetching and carrying; and better yet, no taking piles of bottles and cans to the recycling centre! On top of this, we can also supply a cask/keg jacket to keep your beer cool and we are more than happy to provide you with glassware.

Party Beer delivery is a local service for Edinburgh, however, if your party coincides with one of our delivery routes to further afield, we will be more than happy to accommodate you. You can also pop into our Brewery Tap to collect your order. Please call 3 days in advance so we can have your order ready for you.

Rent-a-Cask

We can provide all of your favourite Stewart Brewing cask ales in 4.5 gallon (36 pints) or 9 gallon (72 pints) casks. Cask beer should be served at 10-14 degrees. We will provide you with a tap, stand and everything you need to dispense your beer. There are 2 options for you to consider when choosing your cask beer:

Cask conditioned

This is the traditional method of serving beer where the yeast is still present in the cask. Yeast acts as a natural preservative so the beer has a longer shelf life (up to 3 months), but once opened, it should be consumed within one week. For the beer to pour clear the yeast needs to settle to the bottom of the cask. This usually takes 24 hours, during which the cask should be in a cool place and should not be disturbed until the beer is consumed.

Bright beer

The cask is filled with yeast-free clear beer and a small amount of carbon dioxide is added, resulting in the beer having a little more ‘sparkle’ and fizz. Due to no yeast being present in the cask, there is no need for it to settle which means it is great for transporting and drinking straight on arrival. Bright beer does not have any preservatives present so it needs to be kept cold and used within 2-3 days of opening.

Rent-a-Keg

This is perfect if you want cold, carbonated (fizzy) beer. Our Rent-a-Keg system includes a Bronco pump, which uses air pressure to dispense your beer, so there are no gas canisters to worry about. The beer is in a bag inside the keg so no air will mix with your beer. The keg is inside a water proof cool jacket, so you can pour ice on top of the keg to keep it cold. This should be consumed within one week. It is easier than it sounds and instructions will be provided.

Pentland IPA, Hollyrood and Edinburgh Gold are always available. Please contact our Brewery Shop for the latest specials.

Bag in Box

Bag in Box beer is perfect if you want ale but don't want to worry about returning a cask. The bag has a tap installed in it and there is no need to return this to us after your party. Please check to see which ales are available.

Bag in Box is available in 10 or 20 litres and the beer will be similar to cask ales.

Confused? Don't worry you're not the only one. Click here for a guide to the difference between Keg, Cask Conditioned, Bright Cask & Bag in Box.

Price List

*Please note a £50 deposit is taken per cask and a £100 deposit per keg to ensure its safe return with the associated equipment.

Glass Hire

We offer pints and half pint glasses for hire. These come in cases of 12. Each case costs £5 and there is a £20 deposit per case. The glasses will be clean and ready for you to use. We ask that you return them to us clean. There is a charge of £1 for each broken or dirty glass.

To find out more or to place an order, feel free to contact the brewery on 0131 563 7580 or email shop@stewartbrewing.co.uk. Please note that we can only deliver in conjunction with our own deliveries. We will do our very best to get your beer deliver to you by a time and date that you request but please allow for some flexibility, especially during busy summer and winter months.
