Looking for something different to try this weekend?
Why not try making beer pancakes!
A boozy kick to brunch and use up some of the beer you have lying around the house.
Ingredients (for 5-6 pancakes):
1 Cup Beer
1 & ¼ Cups Self Raising Flour
Toppings of your choice
How to make:
· Sift your flour into a mixing bowl.
· Add an egg.
· Slowly add the beer, making sure not to get too much foam.
· Whisk, Whisk, Whisk
Your batter should be, well pancake batter texture, add more flour if you think it is too runny, different beers will act differently in the batter, trust your judgement.
Once your batter is ready, heat a splash of olive oil on low heat, ladle the batter in and cook your pancake low and slow.
Add your toppings and ta-da!
