Stewart Brewing re-names Jack Back beer in honour of new celebrity ambassador Jack Black
Edinburgh-based craft brewery Stewart Brewing have formed an unlikely friendship – with actor Jack Black, known for his roles in School of Rock and the Jumanji remake, as well as his work in the music industry, most famously with Tenacious D. The famous actor is “a self-confessed Stewart Brewing fanboy” and loves a pint of Jack Back session pale ale whenever he comes to Scotland. The brewery’s PR Manager contacted the actor’s agent to see if he would be willing to endorse the beer, and Jack Black agreed to with so much enthusiasm that Steve and Jo Stewart felt the need to tweak the name of the actor’s beer of choice in his honour.
“We are so excited about our new partnership with Mr Jack Black” says Jo Stewart, Co-founder of Stewart Brewing. “It’s always exciting to get a celebrity endorsement, but with someone so famous, we felt the need to go that extra step further, and rename his favourite beer after him!”
Jack Black will be visiting the brewery to film a series of promotional videos in early June. An exclusive meet and greet is being planned for the same evening at the brewery taproom, so look out for details on our social media closer to the time.
