Local independent brewery Stewart Brewing has agreed a sponsorship deal with its local rugby team, Penicuik RFC.
 

        The deal sees Stewart Brewing take over as main sponsor, which includes new branded kit, for at least the next 12 months. The team wore the new kits, featuring the Stewart Brewing logo, for the first time in their home game against Duns on 7 November.

Founder and MD of Stewart Brewing, Steve Stewart, grew up in Penicuik and has been an avid rugby fan since school.

Steve said: “The team are big fans of our beers and visit the brewery regularly. This seemed like the perfect opportunity to support a great local sports team and get more involved with the community.

“We have been supporting Penicuik from the sidelines for some time and are very proud to sponsor the team. We are looking forward to a great season.”
